Open Face Cross Flow Booths

Open Face Cross Flow Booths are available in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet the needs of a broad range of finishing processes. Standard sizes start at a small bench top booth that is 3' wide x 4' high x 2' deep all the way up to large 20' wide x 12' high x 12' deep booths for coating larger parts.

Open Face Cross Flow Booths are functional and have the lowest initial capital investment of available booth styles. They are typically used for decorative and protective coatings where a flawless "Class A" finish quality is not required. The Open Face Cross Flow booth is responsible for satisfying the spray booth needs of the majority of the Industrial, Manufacturing and Wood Working markets.

open-face01Typical Cross Flow Configuration

The cross flow or horizontal flow spray booth uses an exhaust fan to pull in air at one end of the booth from the shop or plant area immediately surrounding the spray booth. The air enters the working chamber unfiltered through an open face.

Air flows parallel to the floor, passes through the working area and transports overspray to the paint arrestor filters at the end of the booth where it is captured. The cleaned air is then exhausted through ducting directly into the atmosphere.
